  what really sets this place apart from the other ice cream places around the neighborhood is that they customize cakes for whichever occasion. for my daughter's birthday, i brought in this picture of her on the tricycle and the owner was able to recreate that on the cake! imagine the delight of all the other kids & moms! loved it! thanks

  Was picking up dinner with the kids and stopped by Jersey Mike's on Friday. As we were leaving my daughter spotted Carvel and dragged me there for some ice cream. The kids had single scoops (can't let them be hyper after 8pm) while the wife and I split the truffle dasher. Was a great way to top off the night.

  I had the most delicious ice cream yesterday for a baby shower from Carvel. It had the creamiest vanilla ice cream I've ever had (and chocolate is my favorite) with a layer of chocolate crunchies for a great change in texture and a layer of my favorite...chocolate ice cream! The decorations were adorable and the ice cream was even better. Plus Carvel has a ton of other ice cream flavors to choose from and my favorite--a freezer section so you can take some goodies to go including ice cream sandwiches/flying saucers, sundaes, and brown bonnets (chocolate dipped cones). Just writing about it make me hungry for another one!
